“NIGHT/LUST/VACANCY’ FIRST SINGLE FROM THE HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM SO GONE

NEW YORK CITY, APRIL 19, 2020

What would you leave behind? What would you be prepared to lose in pursuit of your dream? And how do you keep that dream from being lost in the process?
These questions are explored in So Gone, the highly-anticipated forthcoming concept album from Casualty Process, which follows the journey of an exiled artist through dislocation, despair, possibility, and hope.

Today, Casualty Process is releasing a teaser for So Gone, a track titled “Lust/Night/Vacancy” featuring vocals by Jordan Miller. In this chapter of the story, the narrator, while separated from his beloved, falls for the temptations of the city only to find them hollow.

Composer Natch Nadjafi had this to say about the single:
”Night/Lust/Vacancy” was central to the creation of SoGone. It’s a 4-minute depiction of one the most vulnerable times in my life which took place on the dark and seductive streets of New York City at night, a time when I kept “falling but I followed.” I was so gone that I couldn’t go back, couldn’t see any future in front of me; so gone that I couldn’t resist the temptation to touch the forbidden.
The beginning is mesmerizing and “vacant,” while for the coda I go absolutely crazy with an unusual combination of heavily-layered synths, a brutal drum line, and glitchy noises on top of a majestic string and brass section.”
